San Francisco born and raised artist Knxout is a multi-disciplinary artist who creates everything from music to video to interactive music tools. Foggy is a tribute to the beauty and cinematic scenery of Knxout’s hometown, San Francisco. From the ocean waves to the flowing bay he is as liquid in his musical styles as the water flowing around him. It is also a tribute to the city kids who are children of the fog and those that are not only content in the blinding calming fog but find the cool cloud air detoxifying, meditative and comforting. Growing up in the city makes you mentally strong. The fog rolls in and you can’t see 10 feet in front of you. Fog forces you to be creative, generate ideas and fill in the gray space between darkness and visibility. Fog forces you to be hopeful and optimistic the sun will return tomorrow, but also thankful for a fresh new breath of life and clean lungs from ocean air and the dew that drips from eucalyptus branches. City kids thrive in the fog, clean our trauma and return to blossom in the sun.
